IS OUR MARRIAGE SACRED

Marriages are formed to build a personal history together between the two spouses. When a couple gets married their minds become one and they form a unity of faith. Through this one cell (body) God builds families. Families with children grow to understand a relationship with the Spirit through worldviews, personal household stories, and community childhood memories. It takes a village to raise a child. We all come from this process. God is continuously redesigning the profile of human history; with all composition rooted in the framework of truth- Jesus reflects this truth in a family dynamic. We as His heirs and siblings of the firstborn of the dead. Jesus united Himself with the church in marriage as a bride.
“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”                                                                                                                                  John 14:6
Marriages have their seasons. Much as philodendron maturing and developing through growth with the seasons of Mother Nature; we have a honeymoon phase, career orientated stage, expansion with children, family genre, golden years, plus, inner sexuality and romance progression throughout the relationship. If you read through the Book of Malachi in the Bible God is addressing His people as a husband would address His spouse in a marriage relationship. He is speaking as opening a dialogue like: Where are we in this marriage now?” Or as a husband may ask, “How are feeling about our relationship?”
Read through the Scriptures of the Book of Malachi. Listen to your subconscious through the author’s voice.
“A son honors his father, and a slave his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?’ says the Lord Almighty.”
                                                                                                                                                Malachi 1:6
“Judah has been unfaithful. A detestable thing has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem: Judah has desecrated the sanctuary the Lord loves by marring women who worship foreign god. As for man who does this, whoever he may the Lord remove him from the tents of Jacob- even though he brings an offering to the Lord Almighty,”
 Malachi 2:11 & 12
“Has not the one God made you? You belong to him in body and spirit. And what does the one God seek? Godly offspring. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful to the wife of your youth.”                                                                                                 Malachi 2:15
“I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. Ever since the time of your ancestors you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you’ says the Lord Almighty.”     Malachi 3: 6 & 7
“On the day when I act, says the Lord Almighty, ‘they be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him.”
                                                                                                                                                                Malachi 3:17
“Surely the day is coming; it will burn like doer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire.’ Says the Lord Almighty’ ‘Not a root or a branch will be left to them. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves. Then you will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty.”
                                                                                                                                                                Malachi 4:1-3
Consider a marriage, a sacred marriage; we have abusive relationships, unfaithful relationships, dictator relationships, addictive relationships, obsessive relationships… and good relationships. God reflects a husband of a good marriage. Marriage is a two-way correlation. Religion is not a relationship. What God ask for in theology does not reflect a dictatorship marriage whereby the dominate, spouse bullies the recessive mate. God demonstrates a true, faithful, unconditional, forgiving, and compassionate Father towards His offsprings. This is what a husband recklessly does out of passion relentlessly, revealing Himself upon His Bride and then dying as He lavishly expresses His heart as forever releasing love eternally. You would think as the receptor we would show a little gratitude.
