The temple of the Lord was the “Ark of God”. Now the temple of God is revealed in our body. Our inner appearance is outshining in the spirituality of humanity. We see the truth of our spirit cultivating into a soul. God dwells in this longevity. Emmanuel habituate on Earth. When one lives within this dimension (Earth) it leaves a residue as it transcends into the next realms of life. This is natural. One cannot create or destroy matter or energy. It simply transforms its existence into another form. We see memories of our loved ones. We feel the presence of our ancestors. We are family among a culture of the church, the Body of Christ. Jesus has relics in this ontology. We who are Christians serve a living God.
Why did David so deeply wanted to build his God an alter to dwell and live? We see Jesus’ words “birds and foxes find nest and dens to rest, yet the Son of Man has no place to rest his head.” (SPIRITUAL REFLECTION: Mathew 8:20) What is it to be homeless; a spirit wondering aimlessly without a destination or a resting place. Heaven is home. Do we see this reality? Can we feel this residence of Jesus’ presence. Do we give Christ a home? Are we aware of Emmanuel living among humans? This could be a simple matter; This is definitely a good predicament. We should desire such a reality with all our hearts. Do we?
