Will the Apostles of Yesterday Recognize the Church of Today?
PROSECUTOR You’re weird, that’s not love. You’re weak, that’s not normal. What do you think you’re trying to do?
DEFENSE I’m obeying my mission of becoming a disciple.
WITNESS 1/APOSTLE This place is not my home, and I will not rest until I see the white satin sheets on my bed which is within my room and which is within my home.
PROSECUTOR Your body is not a resting place and you fear the walls of your very own temple. Your body do not represent a building.
WITNESS 1/APOSTLE I know my master and He knows my name!
WITNESS 2/APOSTLE If this faith is good where is the fruit? Where’s the soil which I need for the plant to grow?
WITNESS 3/APOSTLE It’s been 2000yrs since we fellowship with the body of believers!
DEFENSE Your resurrection is waiting among the Sons of God. The Earth womb opens as a mother in birth crying out for retaliation.
PROSECUTOR When I destroyed your Master on the cross I destroyed the temple. When I destroyed the temple I destroyed the church.
WITNESS 3/APOSTLE If it is home I search for my needs are not met. But in the present era I do not see a church!
WITNESS 2/APOSTLE I see a creed, but don’t recognize a culture. Yet, we all come from the same roots. I see my brother here from the beginning, but I wonder where the body of the Bride abides in the church today. I can’t rest my seeds in this soil.
DEFENSE We call our fellowship a church, but we are not a witness to the true nature of our Messiah.
PROSECUTOR I told you that I build a cross! I told you that I destroyed a body! I told you I executed a dogma to kill a God!
WITNESS 1/APOSTLE You may never kill my Lord!
WITNESS 3/APOSTLE We will stand and fight to die and rise again!
WITNESS 2/APOSTLE Our love will never end until we fulfill all the law executed within our faith. We speak as one mind, one blood, one body. We will never cease or fail.
DEFENSE The Sons of God rise into the mist of the day. They are the Apostles which lived yesterday. They came to bear witness to the reality of our world. What they will find may not measure out to our salvation for our entire humanity; yet, the seeds, the good seeds of faith rest in the soil of our souls. They seek love and observe the commodity of the sound structure which they laid as the solid foundation of the original sector. Will they recognize their spirits as fellow heirs within the family of believers within our generation today?
