ARMY ANTS

ARMY Ants

We all come from the same cloth.
The man at Starbucks, at 7:30 am picking up his coffee and racing out the door to drive to the office.
The next man who runs into Starbucks wearing sweatpants & a t-shirt, as he picks up an iced tea and somehow manage to drink it all before returning to jog outside in the parking lot.
The woman who walks into the next door at Dunkin Donuts passing the young entrepreneur as she picked up a dozen donuts for her coworkers at her office.
The entrepreneur brings his laptop into Starbucks and decides to sit down, order a hot cappuccino and start his day of labor.
These are the individuals who make the circuits of life work like tiny ants working together to form some sort of hill.
We all come from the same cloth.
The message on Facebook reflects political satire of everyday life.
The challenge on Tic Toc seems to question everyone’s mentality on who will be foolish enough to do the challenge of the latest trend, as we read over a thousand people who have already tried.
The musician on Spotify reflects the generations before the 90’s who bring a new wave of punk rock to a chain of old school classic rock believers
The music blurs over the speakers, the traffic doesn’t seem to get weaker; while all hates the traffic lights that seems to keep changing slower, telling us to stop driving, stop talking, stop thinking, start walking. Why are there so many people at the airport when so many flights never leave on proper notice.
We talk over the phone because we need someone to touch.
We ask to be heard and try not to judge
The man on the cross had an opinion.
He said why are they killing this other man?
We ask why are we in war…still another battle, another man killed.
Why are we in war- thou shall not kill
That’s what the Law says
We are all from the same cloth; dug up from the same soil, rooted among millions of other trees in the forest
searching for meaning, asking for comfort, searching for salvation, wanting to be gay because we remember we had joy as we all were children at one point in time.
We’ve all seen a morning, every homeless person had a childhood to remember what they dream they would grow up to be…dreams… what happened to our dreams?
Who told us we could not fly?
We all are at the foot of the cross; equal in blood, equal in sin, equal in our destiny- all will die and be resurrected to meet their maker… may we see beyond the horizon of tomorrow.
Because the sun sets for all at the foot of the cross.
