“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
John 13:34 & 35
There is no human who is uncapable of being loved. Love is a verb. It is an active emotion build around action. God is love. (SPIRITUAL REFLECTION: I John 4:16) This emotion coming from God is powerful, an energy with the capacity of producing life. God is spirit. (SPIRITUAL REFLECTION: John 4:24) The Holy Spirit moves through life bringing resurrection and refreshing all who serve His purpose. We may question the darkness in the world. All the wickedness seems to tattoo any good reason to be here. However, we should not be blind; life is beautiful and we are blessed to be created and to live here on Earth.
The poor will always be among us. Is this because we as humans always need a reason to give?
“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved”
Acts 4:46 & 47
Why should we seek a reason to love?
Human nature defeats our purpose of fulfilling Jesus will for humanity. We are not unified in love. Outside of the church you really don’t see people singing together in unison. Is this vision worldwide unrealistic for humans? Will we always not be unified; not under one faith… one day…can we pray for this? Can we search for an answer only God can give? What shall we pray for? We should ask God what we should be praying for?
