PEACE WHERE THERE IS NO PEACE

PEACE WHERE THERE IS NO PEACE

I have a confession to make to all who are witnesses. I am biased on my worldviews. I read the times and judge humanity from a Biblical perspective. I am not “a judge” or “thee judge” who has the power to condemn, or save, or restore. I cannot establish the boundaries of truth, and I am subject to live & submit into the same measurements of reality and every average human being. Nevertheless, my opinions weigh on biblical reasoning of morality. Salvation is an individual issue. I do not have the right to create or destroy the fate and/or outcome of any fellow heir, neighbor, friend, loved one, family or even stranger or enemy. I cannot raise a human being to understand and embrace salvation on the simple level of creation or human existence. I don’t create doctrine for theology to govern our thoughts. However, I live a lifestyle based on Christianity doctrine & theology whereby I am opinionated based on this belief system. These are the standards which I govern within my home.
What does the word bias mean? A bias is a preference for or against something. This can be made consciously or unconsciously. The important aspect of this confession is everybody has unconscious bias. Conscious bias or “explicit” bias causes one to make a decision leaning in a particular way, thus; “I will preach to people who are incarcerated or homeless because they are more likely to be hungry for the Word”. Unconscious bias or “implicit” bias causes one to develop an attitude or belief system which reflects within their behavior, thus; “This neighborhood (based on the exterior scenery such as landscape, type of cars in the driveways & habitat appearance) tends to have a certain type of residences who are within a specific social class”. A political believe system based around a bias concept is to say, “when you don’t have a middle class you have a third world country!”
The point to this moral is honestly all humans are biased at the very least unconsciously biased. We all have our demographic, social background, family origin and personal story to contribute to this pool of appearance and environmental reality. Microaggression is a term used to address when one may attest or say something crude to another human being either directly or purposefully because of an implicit manner of thinking. The scriptures read:
“Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.” – Hebrews 12:14
I make this confession not to sound noble. I am human; both good and evil I possess within myself. I am not all holy to cast perfect judgement. Nevertheless, I do feel respectfully that I hold knowledge that would be noteworthy to share… therefore I write.
Where is peace between nature and society? May we cultivate why Mother Earth gave us land to build our lives upon. May I be a good feature within the soil of humanity to help this creation grow.
