About Anthony Shepherd Brown
It started with a voice that’s how my story begins. I heard my name blowing in the wind. It took some time for me to actually find my Higher Power, my God. It took time to find the meaning behind His Word. First, as I search the truth behind this voice, I seek knowledge. I finished college at the University of Central Florida in 1999, and obtained a Bachelor Degree in Business Communication with a Minor in Philosophy. I furthered my education by seeking a Master Degree in Theology. I failed at this point in my attempt to understand my calling miserably. This reflected a pattern of broken roads within my life. I heard a voice of reasoning when I was 22yrs old. It revealed to me to quit using illegal drugs. I listened to this voice. It opened a doorway for a future of possibilities.
I followed this reliable pathway towards success (despite mental diagnosis of schizophrenia, and a criminal record) I achieve a comfortable lifestyle. I started a Junior A.C.F. (America Culinary Federation) club and while graduating trade school in 1993. I maintain membership with a public speaking network called Toastmaster for over a decade. While obtaining my Bachelor Degree I edited/ co-wrote a Philosophy Magazine called “Coyote” and became President of the Philosophy Club.
The broken road came to a permanent pathway when I met Rommy, who soon after we met became my wife in November 2005. Today, I still seek the meaning behind the voice which I first heard as a child calling me to come and join the marching journey of the Saints. Today, I remain within the body of Christ by maintaining membership in the Orlando Church of Christ. I live at peace and harmony with my wife and son, Solomon. I practice spoken worked at local coffee shops, write; publish books and poetry pamphlets on the internet illustrating my philosophy and spiritual creed. The voice remains constant. My story still being fulfilled as the days grows; and as destiny opens it needs to be told.
I self-published my first book called “Wind…Be Faithful to Me” which speaks on how a journey towards a spiritual quest appears. I continue to reach out to other within a fellowship of like-mind believers in religion, business, and hobbies (such as music, cuisine, cultural art, inspirational movies, and comic books). This is my gift. This is where I need to be. I speak to the world through writing while cultivating in prayers and fellowshipping the spread of the gospel over Internet.
I write, this is my ministry.
