Fruit Garden: Love- Eternal Water of Life As it is expressed, a picture is worth a thousand words; then the reality of love is as a video of a film being displayed. One must listen to the lyrics to appreciate the song, while the meaning of love engulfs the entire mood, feeling and idea expressed through the music. It is the type of instrument being played as well as the silence and pauses between each note. You cannot comprehend the meaning of love simply by giving it a definition. It is as water slipping through your hands, or grasping the wind whereby it moves in any direction, north and then east. Love is a fruit of the Holy Spirit which needed to be dramatically demonstrated for the human heart to embrace the meaning. A dying Son of God on a cross, while he is forgiving the world for the very act; this is God’s way of displaying love. It is important to realize that love cannot be grammatically understood. It expands pass logic and gives infinite perceptive beyond a mathematical language. Love is simply expressed and demonstrated through acts of human character and behavior. It is a discussion towards a mate; established through promise in wedding vows, then becomes the decision of commitment and sacrifices given as the courtship turns into marriage. This relationship then transpires into families. Love is without boundaries, yet, it can be bound and delineate through an existence of a living God. God is love and without Him there is no love. The best basic illustration of unconditional love within A safe, caring environment for growth and repentance is shown through the example of 12Steps programs & 12Steps meetings. AA, NA, OA, SA and other 12Steps Anonymous Meeting are pure examples of brotherly & sister-to-sister love. Here no one is turned down, no matter how ugly their sin may appear. There never given limits of grace, and members always are welcomed with open arms towards repentance. The fellowship in addition to following a personal program reveals a clear model of forgiveness plus spiritual principles which allows one nature to grow; thus allows love to continue to grow. It is because of pureness found in the program through Tradition Three, “The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using.” & Tradition Five, “Each group has but one primary purpose- to carry the message to the addict who still suffers.” That love is able to survive and then grow. Love nurtures, protects and establish humility. It is reflected anytime these principles are revealed. It never fails, never dies, nor displays prideful character. It is an eternal emotion. <strong>(Reflection I Corinthians 13: 4-10)
