A relationship with Jesus Christ, this is the goal one must obtain, not a sinless life or a righteous heart. These things we cannot obtain without Jesus. And it is through the growth of a relationship with Him that we understand this point. I am in the business of sales. Actually, I’ve worked many trades within the labor force lifestyles. However, sales is the mindset of financial income, I plan to retire into as a career. I’ve learned the art of communicating and listening to people. It does not matter what product or service you sale, it all follows the same process. There is a need, or problem, and then one (a salesperson) offers a solution or answer to that need or problem. This solution is then tailored so their product or service fits the customer’s lifestyle. It doesn’t matter what product or service you’re sailing; all sales process moves through these steps. Rather it is a computer, a car, a phone, a pair of sneakers, or a pet grooming salon, a restaurant meal, a cleaning service, or a gym membership; a customer express a need or desire to obtain a reason to fix a certain problem then a sales person offers their business to meet that solution, a monetary value is discussed and agreed upon and a trade of good and/or service is made ( a contract).
The words used to communicate this process may change depending on the situation, however, the theme is still the same. Much like a sci-fi theme, or romance story or even a western, we have a central theme; the story, plot, actor, characters, scenery may vary in detail or (with sales) the monetary numbers or scenarios, but the mindset of the contract is still the same. What it takes to make a sale process is a standard theme tailored made to fit an individual customer. This philosophy is also true in the moral of salvation. The theme of Christianity is a relationship with Christ. The reason the words are the same is because the theme never changes from one soul to another. One human seeks salvation because their soul thirst for spiritual water, thus one realizes their soul needs to be saved. They seek an answer to feel that void within their lives and the only true answer for that need is Jesus. Now the moral of counterfeit answers is saved for another argument. For now, the focus is the destination for all humans’ paths is to reach the same goal of eternity in Heaven. The moral of who is God or why is Jesus is the right answer or even why can’t Satan justify humans’ need is spared for another discussion and conversation. Really, this is not going to be entertained at this moment because it had already been fully revealed within previous articles and passages, I’ve written on this website. At this point of lessons, the basic concept of Jesus is Lord is deeply understood or eternally lost. People did not want to accept the Son of God as the Savior for humanity over 2000yrs ago. Where’s the evidence of why we think we grew wiser today. We have been given the gift of freewill. If we choose not to follow the path of salvation wisely, we forfeit our souls. It is no mystery. It’s no surprise. At this point of comprehensive one can focus on enrichening the soil of the heart to develop sweeter spiritual fruit.
“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”- I Corinthians 1:18
